Wassa Amenfi East MCE Assumes Office, Laments Lack of Cultural Maintenance.

 

Hon. Raymond Nana Ebbah has officially taken office as the Municipal Chief Executive for Wassa Amenfi East, following a unanimous 100% confirmation by the assembly members.

On his first day, Hon. Ebbah was accompanied by Hon. Nicholas Amankwah, the Member of Parliament for Wassa Amenfi East, constituency party executives, and supporters.

During a tour of the assembly facility, Hon. Ebbah was visibly distressed by the deplorable state of the offices, washrooms, and properties.

Despite renovating his office, other facilities were in disarray.

The assembly’s electricity plant was non-functional, and the building was surrounded by an overgrown, unclean environment.

In an interview with the media, Hon. Ebbah pledged to deliver on his mandate without blame or delay.

He emphasized that the President’s reset agenda remains his top priority and committed to undertaking maintenance works on faulty equipment and assembly facilities.

The MCE lamented the Assembly’s faulty official vehicle, citing its negative impact on daily operations, but promises to repair it.

Hon. Ebbah assured his commitment to Amenfi East’s development through effective collaboration with stakeholders to reset the municipality.
