Ghana Police Service Updates Investigation into Alleged Assault Case.
The Ghana Police Service is continuing its investigation into the alleged assault of a police officer during a recent demonstration.
Hon. Alexander Afenyo-Markin reported to the Police on May 7, 2025, to assist with the investigation, following a request from the Criminal Investigations Department (CID).

The Police have also commenced an investigation into a petition filed by Hon. Afenyo-Markin, alleging that he was assaulted by the police officer in question. Both investigations are currently ongoing.
