Speaking at the “Save the Judiciary Demo” in Accra, Afenyo-Markin slammed the president for the suspension of the Chief Justice and alleged intimidation of certain individuals, including the former Bank of Ghana Governor and former Finance Minister.

Afenyo-Markin emphasized that the government should focus on addressing pressing issues such as unemployment and economic growth rather than creating chaos and destroying institutions.

“We want this government to focus on work, create employment, and not unemployment, create a peaceful country, and not chaos,” he stated.
