Mass Health Check Mobilizes Abofour: 5,000+ Benefit from Free Screening.

Abofour, Ghana – The Abofour Youth for Development, opinion leaders, and the Abofour Dumansua Traditional Council have organized a free health screening for over 5,000 people from Abofour and surrounding areas.

This Health screening is part of their end-of-year annual homecoming initiative, aimed at promoting health and wellbeing in the community.

The health screening is also supporting to complete the construction of an ultra-modern maternity with theatre which started last two years, a vital facility for residents and visitors alike.

According to the health workers, “Use this opportunity to check your health and social wellbeing,” advised the traditional council and health workers.

“It’s time for individuals to prioritize early disease detection, preventing serious issues like cancer or diabetes  and any other diseases when treatment is most effective.”

The screening offers lifestyle guidance for better habits, helps manage chronic conditions, reduces future healthcare costs, and improves mental wellbeing by catching stress early.
