National Service Personnel in Volta and Oti Regions Ordered to Resume Duties Immediately
The National Service Personnel Association (NASPA) Volta/Oti Regions has issued an urgent directive to all national service personnel from Colleges of Education currently serving in the Volta and Oti regions to immediately resume their duties.

According to a letter dated November 18, 2025, signed by NASPA Volta/Oti President Bright Korsinah Asare and General Secretary Khalid Abdul-Hamid, a significant number of personnel have been absent from their posts due to delayed payment of monthly allowances.
The association reminded personnel that the current service year has seen consistent payment of allowances, with only a few outstanding payments pending clearance by the National Service Secretariat.
The letter warned that absenteeism violates the National Service Act and could result in sanctions, including possible extension of service or denial of the certificate of national service.
Personnel are instructed to report back to their duty posts by Wednesday, November 19, 2025, without further delay.
NASPA Volta/Oti executives expressed commitment to the welfare of personnel, stating they will continue to liaise with authorities for prompt release of any arrears.
