Assembly Members in Offinso North Express Disappointment Over DCE’s Decision
Assembly members in the Offinso North District have expressed disappointment over the District Chief Executive’s (DCE) decision regarding a key development project. Hon. Appiah Sarpong Rabby, Assemblyman for Old Atwene Electoral Area.
speaking on behalf of the assembly members, cited the district capital’s high population and existing infrastructure as reasons why the project should be located in Akumadan.
The assembly members are concerned that the DCE’s decision may not benefit the district as intended.
They believe that locating the project in Akumadan would have boosted the local economy and improved the lives of residents.
The assembly members are urging the DCE to reconsider the decision and prioritize the development of Akumadan and the Offinso North District as a whole.
