Police Investigate Fatal Shooting Incident at Asiyaw, Near Nsawam.

he Eastern South Regional Police Command is investigating a fatal shooting incident that occurred on April 29, 2025, resulting in the deaths of five individuals at Asiyaw, near Akwane-Dobro, Nsawam.

The police crime scene team responded to the incident and found the lifeless bodies of five male adults with gunshot wounds. Several items were recovered from the scene, including vehicles, firearms, and ammunition.

Preliminary Findings
Preliminary investigations suggest a confrontation between two groups over sand winning activities may have led to the violent incident. The bodies have been deposited at the Police Hospital mortuary for further examination and identification.

The police are continuing their investigation to apprehend the perpetrators and bring them to justice.
