Rev. Fr. Edward Yeboah Biney Installed as Parish Priest of St Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Abofour
The Catholic community in Abofour gathered at St Francis Xavier Catholic Church for the installation of Rev. Fr. Edward Yeboah Biney as the new Parish Priest.
The installation mass was presided over by Rev. Fr. Dr. Msgr Louis Kofi Tuffour, Vicar General for the Catholic Archdiocese of Kumasi, on behalf of Most Rev. Gabriel Justice Yaw Anokye, Catholic Archbishop of Kumasi.
During the mass, Rev. Fr. Dr. Msgr Louis Kofi Tuffour advised Fr. Biney and all Men of God to be faithful to the Lord’s voice and avoid giving false prophecies that may go beyond the doctrines of the Catholic Church and Christianity as a whole.
He emphasized that this warning applies not only to Pastors alone but to all men of God and children of God, cautioning against speaking without divine instruction.
The Vicar General highlighted the dangers of false prophecy, noting that it can create fear, panic, and discouragement among the faithful.
He urged Men of God to remain grounded in the teachings of the Church and to seek guidance from the Lord in their ministry.
