Lil Win Warns TV Stations Against Unauthorized Airing of His Movies.

Ghanaian actor and filmmaker Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as Lil Win, has issued a stern warning to television stations in Ghana, cautioning them against airing his movies without permission.

 

Kwadwo Nkansah Lil Win in a video posted on his social media platforms, Lil Win expressed his disappointment with TV stations that prioritize foreign content, such as telenovelas, while pirating local productions.

Lil Win emphasized that TV stations should invest in buying Ghanaian movies and series for broadcast, rather than relying on pirated content.

He stated, “I don’t understand how these stations can afford to pay for telenovelas yet choose to download Nigerian films for free and air them.”

The actor Kwadwo Nkansah Lil win warned that any unauthorized transmission of his films, especially those uploaded to his YouTube channel, will not be taken lightly .

Kwadwo Nkansah Lil Win vows to take legal action against violators, warning that he won’t hesitate to escalate matters if court proceedings are slow.

 

Lil Win’s outburst follows a recent wave of complaints by other African filmmakers, including Nigerian actresses Bimbo Ademoye and Omoni Oboli, as well as Ghana’s Juliet Ibrahim, who voiced their anger and disappointment over the piracy of their movies .
