Safe-Child Advocacy Appeals for Support to Empower Vulnerable Children

The Director of Child Advocacy in the Archdiocese of Kumasi, Sr. Olivia Umoh, has issued a heartfelt appeal to Ghanaians to support the organization’s efforts in empowering vulnerable children, youth, and women.

As Safe-Child Advocacy marks its 20th anniversary, Sr. Umoh highlighted the growing challenges faced by the organization in serving children in street and at-risk situations.

The economic situation in Ghana has pushed a higher population into poverty, exacerbating the vulnerability of children and women.

Safe-Child Advocacy aims to break barriers that keep people vulnerable and foster a safer society for children, young people, and women.

The organization provides essential services, including formal education, vocational training, advocacy, and comprehensive support.

Sr. Umoh urged all well-meaning Ghanaians to support Safe-Child Advocacy’s efforts, emphasizing that even small contributions can make a significant difference in the lives of vulnerable children.

“With a little support from various sources, we can reach out to more in needy situations,” she said.

“Let us support the children of Ghana to rise and shine.”

The organization’s work is crucial in addressing the plight of vulnerable children.

As Nelson Mandela once said, “There can be no keener revelation of a society’s soul than the way in which it treats its children.”

Safe-Child Advocacy’s efforts aim to provide access to education and skills training, empowering children and young people to break the cycle of poverty.

Ghanaians can support Safe-Child Advocacy by donating to the organization, which will help provide education and skills training to vulnerable children.

Every contribution counts, and even small donations can make a significant difference in the life of a child.

By supporting Safe-Child Advocacy, individuals can be part of creating a more respectable Ghana where every child has access to their basic rights.

As Safe-Child Advocacy celebrates its 20th anniversary, it is clear that the organization’s work is more critical than ever.

Sr. Umoh’s appeal highlights the need for collective action to support vulnerable children and create a safer society.

By joining forces with Safe-Child Advocacy, Ghanaians can help transform lives and build a brighter future for the country’s most vulnerable populations.
