The Dominican School Offinso-Namong recently held its annual graduation ceremony, with Nana Adwoa Afranewaa III, the Offinsomanhene, as the special guest of honor. In her speech, Nana Adwoa Afranewaa III emphasized the importance of education and urged Ghanaians to prioritize their children’s education.

According to Nana Adwoa Afranewaa III, parents should recognize that their children’s future is tied to their education. She advised parents to utilize their resources to educate their children, stating, “If you couldn’t attend school,then make sure you educate your children. Let them know the purpose of education.” She also cautioned parents to protect their children from negative influences, such as using profane language and associating with bad friends.

Nana Adwoa Afranewaa III also had a message for the students, urging them to be truthful, take their academics seriously, and strive to become good future leaders. She emphasized the importance of instilling the fear of the Lord in children, which she believes is essential for their moral development.
