Dr. Fred Kyei Asamoah, MP for Offinso North, is calling on the government to urgently address critical gaps in Ghana’s education and human capital development sector.
He questioned the status of the 50,000 teacher recruitment promise made by the Minister of Education, revealing that even 5,000 teachers hired in 2024 are still unpaid nearly a year later.

Dr. Asamoah also raised concerns about unpaid institutions in the TVET sector, including those involved in the Ghana Skills Development Fund.
He criticized the poor implementation of the National Apprenticeship Program, where only GH¢21 million out of a GH¢300 million budget has been disbursed, citing a lack of direction and clear policies.
Touching on the Ejumerua and Codes initiatives, he called for transparency
