Obuasi Kokoteasua’s New Chief Calls for Developmental Projects

The newly installed chief of Obuasi Kokoteasua, Nana Appiah Darkwa II, has appealed to Anglogold Ashanti Obuasi Mine and the government to bring developmental projects to the community.

He emphasized the need for employment opportunities for youths to curb unemployment and development of social amenities such as school infrastructure, roads, and public toilets.

The chief’s appeal aims to improve living standards and provide a better future for the community.

He also urged youths to abstain from violence and work towards community development.

Nana Agyei Kyere II, Asante Bekwai Apagyahene, supported the chief’s call, urging residents to stay away from curses, which have been banned by Nana Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.

Residents are hopeful that the new chief’s efforts will bring positive change to the community.
