Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council Issues Updated Security Directive

The Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council has issued an updated security directive aimed at enhancing safety and security in the region.

1.Motorbike Operation Hour’s: No motorbike operation is permitted on roads between 7:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.

3.Attire Restrictions: Motorbike riders are prohibited from wearing attire that can conceal weapons.

4. Registration Requirement: The use of unregistered or unlicensed motorbikes is strictly prohibited.

5.Weapon Ban: Commuters are not allowed to carry any weapons in cars or on motorcycles.

6.Heightened Security Measures: There is heightened Police and Military visibility with barriers and random stop-and-search checkpoints. The public is urged to cooperate with security personnel.
