Ghanaian Lady Shares Heartbreaking Reason for Ditching Military Dreams for Teaching
A young Ghanaian woman, Agnes Yeboah, has opened up about why she abandoned her dream of joining the military and instead became a teacher. According to Agnes, a man who promised to help her gain entry into the Ghana Armed Forces demanded a large sum of money and solicited sex in exchange for the opportunity.
Faced with this reality, Agnes made the difficult decision to attend teacher training college, not out of passion, but for job security. She revealed that she chose this path because the government would guarantee her a job after completion.
As a trained teacher, Agnes expressed her ongoing frustration with the limited job and business opportunities in Ghana. Despite trying to start her own business, she has received no support from the government. She cited challenges in accessing capital and poor market conditions as major barriers to building a successful future in Ghana.
