Ghana Police Service Issues Disclaimer on Fake Recruitment

 

The Ghana Police Service has issued a disclaimer regarding fake recruitment information circulating on various social media platforms.

The police administration has categorically stated that the information is false and that no new recruitment exercise has been announced.

The Ghana Police Service has assured the public that any recruitment exercise will be duly advertised through official communication channels, including the official website, verified social media platforms, and national dailies.

The public is advised to disregard fraudulent claims and desist from engaging with individuals or groups who promise recruitment opportunities in exchange for money. The Ghana Police Service is actively investigating these fraudulent activities, and persons found to be involved will be arrested and prosecuted in accordance with the law.

The public is encouraged to report any persons or groups engaged in these fraudulent activities to the nearest police station.

“The public is hereby advised to disregard such fraudulent claims and desist from engaging with individuals or groups who promise recruitment opportunities in exchange for money,” said Grace Ansah-Akrofi, Assistant Commissioner of Police and Director of Public Affairs.
