NDC women Organizer for Atwima Mponua constituency, Madam Rita Akomea speaking on the said rumors with the media urged Ghanaians to reject such false news and he believe His Excellency John Dramani Mahama will never do mistake to nominate Issak for the District
“I know President Mahama want progress of NDC party and Atwima Mponua district so he will not nominate just any body but someone who has the support of the people, Assembly members and having NDC and Atwima Mponua at heart and that person is Hon. Sakina Oforiwaa”

Madam Rita Akomeah expressed strong support for Sakina Oforiwaa’s nomination as District Chief Executive (DCE) cited Oforiwaa’s significant contributions to the party and humanity in the district including financial and physical support, such as donating a motorbikes, money and actively campaigning despite being in her later months of pregnancy.
According to her, Ibrahim Issak or any other person nomination shall bring disgrace to the NDC party nationwide so the party leadership must focus on choosing the people’s favorite which is Hon. Sakina Oforiwaa.

She expressed concerns about alleged lobbying by individuals close to the President and opponents, emphasizing that the party’s unity and 2028 victory are paramount with Hon.sakina oforiwaa.
Ghanaians are looking closely for who will be nominated for Atwima Mponua and Asante Mampong after such long delay as President Mahama keeps suspense on aspirants and Ghanaians in that regards.
