“We will wage spiritual war on those who have the political will to make sure the LGBTQI Law is Operationalized but have woefully failed to do so,” Prophet Adu asserted emphatically. He questioned the motives behind the delay, citing the will of the people as a driving force for the bill’s assent.

“The people have spoken, and their voices must be heard,” Prophet Adu emphasized.
“What hinders the law to be assented to by the successive governments of Ghana at the expense of the will of the people?” He stressed that the delayed assent has sparked public reaction, with many suspecting that Ghanaian leaders may be influenced by external forces.
Prophet Adu urged Ghanaians to exert maximum pressure on Members of Parliament to ensure the bill’s assent.
“Ghanaians must rise up and demand action from their leaders,” he declared. “We cannot afford to be silent on an issue that affects our values and traditions.”

The Prophet expressed disappointment in some Members of Parliament, including Hon. Rockson Nelson Dafeamakpor, Hon. Sam George, and Hon. Samuel Okudjeto Ablakwa, for their muted response to the bill’s pending assent.
“When they were in opposition, they exploded in Parliament over this very issue,” Prophet Adu noted. “Now that they are in power, their silence is deafening.”

As the debate surrounding the LGBTQI bill continues, Prophet Shadrack Adu’s call for clarity and action adds to the growing pressure on President Mahama and Parliament to take a decisive stance.
The fate of the bill remains uncertain, but one thing is clear: the voices of the Ghanaian people will not be silenced.
