Small-Scale Miner Backs Government Gold Board Initiative
A responsible small-scale miner from Amenfi East in the Western Region has thrown his weight behind the government’s proposed Gold Board initiative.

Mr. Isaac K. Baidoo, who has over 25 years of experience in the industry, believes the initiative will transform the small-scale mining sector and contribute to national economic growth.

Mr. Baidoo highlighted the benefits of the initiative, including ensuring fair pricing for gold, eliminating exploitation by foreign buyers, and promoting transparency and sustainability in the gold market.

He appealed to all miners, both legal and illegal, to support the initiative. Mr. Baidoo also urged the government to allocate adequate resources to the proposed Gold Board and invest in modern mining equipment to enhance productivity and efficiency.
