TTAG Meets with GES Director-General to Discuss 2023 College of Education Graduates’ Postings
The Teacher Trainees’ Association of Ghana (TTAG) recently met with the Director-General of the Ghana Education Service (GES), Prof. Frank Kofi Davis, to discuss the postings of 2023 College of Education graduates.

The meeting, which took place on June 2, 2025, was attended by key officials from the GES, including the Head of Legal Affairs, Internal Auditor, Head of Public Relations, and General Secretary.

According to a statement released by TTAG, the meeting was productive, with the GES providing updates on the status of the graduates’ postings.
The GES has prepared and submitted the full recruitment budget covering all graduate teachers from public Colleges of Education, and the budget has been successfully defended and approved by the Ministry of Finance and the Parliamentary Select Committee on Education.

The GES is currently awaiting financial clearance from the Ministry of Finance before commencing recruitment and posting.
The Director-General assured TTAG that recruitment will take place this year and reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring a smooth and transparent process for all affected graduates.
TTAG has expressed appreciation for the Director-General’s openness and proactive approach to addressing their concerns.
The association has also appealed to relevant authorities to act with urgency to ensure that the necessary financial clearance is secured without delay.
The TTAG remains committed to keeping the 2023 College of Education graduates informed and will continue to engage key stakeholders to expedite the clearance process.
The association has urged all graduates to remain calm and confident as they push for timely postings.
