Catholic Priest in Kumasi Archdiocese Passes Away After Pentecost Novena.
A somber mood has enveloped the Catholic Archdiocese of Kumasi following the sudden passing of Reverend Father Theophilus Agyemang Nyamekye.
The 41-year-old priest, who had served for 11 years, was resident at St. Augustine Rectorate at Ohwimase/Edwenase.

He was also in charge of the Cheshire Home and HillTop Catholic Community at Kwadaso-Denkyemuoso.

According to reports, Father Theophilus Agyemang Nyamekye just concluded the evening Pentecost Novena Mass when his health took a turn.
Despite struggling with his voice during the consecration, he managed to complete the Mass and returned to his residence, which is close to the church.
An altar server checked on him and offered assistance, but Father Theophilus Agyemang Nyamekye assured him he was fine.

Tragically, shortly after the server left, a loud noise was heard, and upon rushing back, the server found Father Theophilus Agyemang Nyamekye lying on the floor.

Despite being rushed to the hospital, he was pronounced dead on arrival.
The Catholic Archdiocese of Kumasi mourns the loss of one of its devoted servants.
