MP Condemns Murder of Respected Elder in Ketu North Constituency.
Hon. Eric Edem Agbana, Member of Parliament for Ketu North Constituency, has strongly condemned the murder of Mr. Carson Fogah Ladzekpo, a respected elder and retired seafarer, in Tadzewu.
In a statement released on May 31, 2025, Hon. Agbana expressed his deepest sympathies to the victim’s family and the entire Ketu North Constituency.

According to the police, the alleged perpetrator is a Fulani herdsman who has been arrested and is assisting with investigations.
Hon. Agbana has engaged with the police and other security agencies, urging them to work diligently to bring the perpetrators to justice.

While condemning the act of atrocity, Hon. Agbana called on the Chiefs, Religious Leaders, Opinion Leaders, and the Tadzewu community to remain calm and allow the security agencies to pursue the case.
He emphasized that taking the law into their own hands or allowing the tragedy to disturb the peace and security of the community would be detrimental.
Under the leadership of the Municipal Chief Executive, an emergency MUSEC meeting will be held on Monday morning to outline a mechanism to regulate the activities of Fulani herdsmen in the municipality.
Hon. Agbana’s statement reassures the community that the authorities are working to ensure justice is served and to prevent similar incidents in the future.
