MP for Offinso North Donates 70 LED Street Lights to Afrancho, Pledges More Projects

 

Afrancho, Offinso North-Hon. Dr. Fred Kyei Asamoah, Member of Parliament for Offinso North Constituency, has donated 70 LED street bulbs to the people of Afrancho to immediately address street lighting challenges in the town.

The donation was made during an engagement with residents, chiefs, and opinion leaders as part of the MP’s commitment to accountability, development, and community participation.

In attendance were Nana Badu Finan II, Chief of Afrancho, Queen Mother Nana Adwoa Ampomah, and Party Chairman Mr. Johnson Mogma.

Residents commended Dr. Asamoah for his past contributions, including the construction of the police station, town road improvements, the Afrancho market project, and rehabilitation of village roads.

The community raised concerns about the abandoned AstroTurf project, which stalled after the change of government.

They also appealed for a public toilet facility and lasting solutions to waste disposal.

Dr. Asamoah reaffirmed his commitment to the town’s development, pledging to advocate for the completion of town roads and the construction of a modern 12-seater public toilet facility.

The Hon Member of Parliament for Offinso North Hon Dr Fred Kyei Asamoah also promised motor king vehicles to improve waste management.

The MP also outlined plans to construct an ultra-modern natural football field and pave the community’s funeral grounds.
