Women Urged To Undergo Regular Breast Screening For Early Detection Of Cancer

Women have been advised to undergo regular breast screening to ensure early detection and effective treatment of breast cancer.

The Health Promotion Officer at the Dormaa Central Municipal Health Directorate, Mr. Adu-Darko Kofi, who gave the advice, said regular screening would help women identify any unusual changes in their breasts and seek prompt medical attention.

He also called on husbands to support and encourage their wives to examine their breasts regularly.

Mr. Adu-Darko Kofi further urged women to visit health facilities within their communities for breast cancer screening and examination to know their breast health status.

He emphasized that early detection remains crucial in improving treatment outcomes and reducing complications associated with breast cancer.
