NDC Youth Organizer Race: Lambon Moigbarin Picks No.1 On Ballot In Bunkpurugu, Declares “Victory Is Assured”

Bunkpurugu, North East Region– The race for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Constituency Youth Organizer position in Bunkpurugu has taken an exciting turn after Mr. Lambon Moigbarin picked the coveted Number 1 position on the ballot paper.

The aspiring Youth Organizer emerged top after vetting and balloting for the Constituency Executive Elections 2026 held ahead of the October polls.

The ballot sample, which has gone viral in the constituency, shows Lambon Moigbarin occupying the first slot with his campaign motto “Putting the Youth @ the Heart of Leadership”.

Speaking to supporters after the balloting exercise, an elated Lambon Moigbarin said the Number 1 position is a clear sign of victory ahead.

“After vetting, I pulled the first position on the ballot, meaning in the upcoming Constituency primaries I will win as Youth Organizer for Bunkpurugu Constituency. The seat is coming to me,” he declared.

According to Mr. Moigbarin, his decision to contest is driven by a desire to reposition the youth wing of the party, foster unity, and mobilize the youth to maximize votes for the NDC ahead of the 2028 general elections.

Despite his confidence, Lambon Moigbarin used the occasion to preach peace and unity within the party.

He appealed to his supporters, fellow aspirants and all party members to reject insults, intimidation and violence and allow the elections to proceed peacefully.

He urged his contenders to focus on issues and tell delegates what they have done for the party and what they intend to do to strengthen the NDC and keep it in power.

“This election is about ideas and track record, not insults. We must put love, unity and the collective interest of the NDC above personal ambitions before, during and after the elections,” he said.

Mr. Moigbarin, who is noted for his grassroots mobilization and commitment to youth empowerment, said his leadership will prioritize discipline, skills development, job creation opportunities and inclusion of the youth in decision making.

The NDC is expected to hold its Constituency Executive Elections on October 24-25, 2026, ahead of its National Delegates Conference in December, as part of reorganizing towards the 2028 general elections.
