I Helped NDC Secure 2024 Victory; I’m Seeking Another Term To Defend The Gains – Dormaa Central Communications Officer

The Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Dormaa Central Constituency, Hon. Eric Yeboah Kyeremeh, says his contribution to the party’s communication efforts played a significant role in securing victory for the NDC in both the 2024 Presidential and Parliamentary elections in the constituency.

According to him, effective communication, strategic voter engagement and efforts to counter misinformation helped project the party’s message and mobilise support ahead of the elections.

Speaking on his decision to seek another term, Hon. Kyeremeh, who is also the Dormaa Central Municipal Manager of the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA), said he is re-contesting not merely to retain his position but to protect and consolidate the gains made by the party.

Reacting to claims by his opponents that NDC officials had asked him to choose between his position as NHIA Manager and Communications Officer, and that he chose the NHIA position, Hon. Kyeremeh dismissed the claims as false and malicious.

He cited some regional and constituency executives who currently hold public positions under the NDC government while continuing to serve as party executives. He alleged that some individuals who lobbied unsuccessfully for the NHIA Manager position were behind the claims, saying their aim was to tarnish his image before delegates.

He maintained that he remains focused and believes delegates are aware of his contribution to the party’s success in Dormaa Central and will reward him accordingly.

Hon. Kyeremeh said this is his second-term contest and noted that after choosing Number 1 on the ballot paper in his first term, he has chosen Number 2 this time, which he said represents his readiness to compete for victory again.

He appealed to delegates to renew his mandate and allow him to continue projecting the party, defending its record and strengthening its position in the constituency. He also urged delegates to disregard what he described as false allegations and campaign tactics intended to undermine his candidacy.
