Do Not Take God For Granted; Some Opportunities Require Rejection For Others To Get Their Turn – Rev. Fr. Edward Yeboah Biney

The Parish Priest of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church at Abofour in the Catholic Archdiocese of Kumasi, Rev. Fr. Edward Yeboah Biney, has admonished Christians not to take God for granted in their daily lives.

According to him, opportunities in life are divinely orchestrated and sometimes, one person has to reject an opportunity for it to reach another person’s turn, describing it as divine relocation.

Delivering a sermon at the church, Rev. Fr. Biney stated that sometimes God has to eliminate certain people from one’s life for greater opportunities to manifest.

“Some opportunities will push people away from your life. You don’t need to complain, just accept it, pray to God and move on. Let it be God’s will,” he advised.

He noted that in real-life situations, not every separation or rejection is a loss, but rather a necessary step for God to reposition an individual for a better opportunity.

Rev. Fr. Biney encouraged the congregation to remain prayerful, faithful and trust in God’s timing, adding that every disappointment and delay has a divine purpose.

He further urged Christians to embrace change and not hold on to people or opportunities that God has intentionally removed from their lives, as God always has a better plan.
