The District Chief Executive for Nkoranza North, Hon. Effah Patrick, and the Member of Parliament, Hon. Joseph Kwasi Mensah, have jointly broken ground for a series of major development projects aimed at transforming education and healthcare delivery in the district.

The projects include the construction of KG blocks at Dwenewo and Dromankuma, a 3-unit classroom block at Dinkra, CHPS compounds at Adoe and Bonte, and the drilling of boreholes for nine communities.

In addition, the two leaders officially handed over the newly completed National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) office at Busunya and presented 500 dual desks to be distributed to selected schools across the district.

Speaking during the ceremony, the DCE explained that the interventions are targeted at replacing dilapidated school structures and bridging the healthcare gap in deprived communities.

“These projects are being funded from the District Assemblies Common Fund to respond directly to the needs of our people in education and health,” Hon. Effah Patrick stated.

The projects, which are expected to be completed within eight months, have been welcomed with excitement by residents of the beneficiary communities.

On his part, Hon. Joseph Kwasi Mensah expressed delight at the pace of development in Nkoranza North and pledged his continuous support.

“I am so happy to see Nkoranza North developing, and I am willing to do everything possible to assist with the necessary resources,” he said.

The MP further disclosed that plans are far advanced for the establishment of a Legal Aid office in the district to enhance access to justice.
