Sokoto Diocese Donates Wheelchairs to Federal Neuro-Psychiatric Hospital
In a heartwarming display of compassion and commitment to human dignity, the Catholic Diocese of Sokoto has donated wheelchairs to the Federal Neuro-Psychiatric Hospital in Kware, Sokoto State.
The donation was made by Most Rev. Dr. Matthew Hassan Kukah, Catholic Bishop of Sokoto Diocese, on June 17, 2025.
The Bishop, represented by the Diocesan Chancellor, Very Revd. Fr. Nuhu Iliya, emphasized the Diocese’s solidarity with those often marginalized due to mental health conditions.
