The President of the SDA East Ghana Conference, Rev. Ernest Ofosu, has eulogised Pastor Frank Addo for his dedicated service to the Akyem Osiem SDA Church in the Eastern Region.

Speaking in an interview with Oyerepa TV/FM Correspondent George Botha on Saturday, October 3, 2026, during a send-off and thanksgiving service held in honour of Pastor Frank Addo, Rev. Ofosu described his dedication and service to the church at Akyem Osiem as unmatched.

He encouraged Pastor Addo to continue demonstrating the same commitment and dedication, with the guidance of God, wherever he is posted.

Rev. Ofosu also admonished the youth to allow the teachings of the Bible to guide them towards living chaste and responsible lives. He cautioned them about the possible negative effects of social media on their lifestyles and urged them to exercise restraint and wisdom in its use.

Meanwhile, the Osiem District First Elder, Elder Owusu Gyekye, described Pastor Frank Addo as a true leader who contributed significantly to the growth of the church through philanthropic activities and youth empowerment initiatives.

He encouraged Pastor Addo to replicate his achievements at his new station and urged his successor at Akyem Osiem to emulate the legacy he leaves behind.

For his part, Pastor Frank Addo expressed gratitude to members of the church and all individuals who supported him in diverse ways during his stay and service at the Akyem Osiem SDA Church.

He also advised the youth to use social media responsibly, stressing that while the platform has negative aspects when misused, it also offers valuable opportunities.

Pastor Addo urged the youth to explore the positive benefits of social media while avoiding its harmful aspects, adding that social media has come to stay and must therefore be used wisely and judiciously.
