DR. MUSTAPHA HAMID: BRIDGING THE GAP BETWEEN THE NPP AND PROFESSIONAL GROUPS

Dr. Mustapha Hamid has outlined his vision to help bridge the gap between the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and professional groups across the country as he seeks to become the party’s 1st Vice Chairman.

Drawing on his experience as a lecturer, researcher and communicator, Dr. Hamid says he intends to engage and reconnect with professionals including teachers, nurses, doctors, lecturers and other professional groups, particularly those who did not support the NPP in the 2024 elections, with the aim of bringing them back into constructive engagement with the party ahead of 2028.

As a researcher, he places strong emphasis on identifying challenges through research, understanding their underlying causes and developing practical solutions to address them.

He also believes effective communication must be strengthened to meet the expectations and concerns of the electorate, while creating a stronger connection between the party and the Ghanaian people.

With his name appearing Number 1 on the ballot paper, delegates will have the opportunity on Saturday, 3rd October, to consider Dr. Mustapha Hamid’s vision for the party’s future.
