YEA Launches Recruitment for Prison Office Assistants
The Youth Employment Agency (YEA) has announced a call for applications for the position of Prison Office Assistants (POAs) as part of its efforts to reduce unemployment in Ghana.

The recruitment is in partnership with the Ghana Prison Service and is aimed at engaging young people in the Prison Service Module (Youth in Community Service and Security).
To be eligible, applicants must be between 18 and 35 years old, have a minimum qualification of Senior High School education, and possess NVTI certification and/or artisanal skills. The application process will run from June 1, 2025, to June 16, 2025, and interested candidates can apply through the YEA portal or visit their district offices for support.
Successful applicants will be engaged as beneficiaries of YEA on a two-year contract.The deadline for applications is June 16, 2025.Interested applicants can access the application portal.

This initiative is part of the YEA’s mandate to oversee the development, coordination, supervision, and facilitation of employment for the youth in Ghana.
