YEA and Ghana Prisons Service Partner to Recruit 5,000 Youth

The Youth Employment Agency (YEA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ghana Prisons Service to recruit and train 5,000 young people as Prison Service Assistants across Ghana.

The partnership, witnessed by the Minister for the Interior and the Minister for Youth Development and Empowerment, underscores the government’s commitment to youth employment and national security.

The initiative aims to create meaningful jobs for young people while equipping key public institutions with skilled youth.

The programme will provide training and employment opportunities for young Ghanaians, enhancing their skills and employability.
