UPDATE: ACCIDENT AT DARSO MARKET CLAIMS FOUR (4) LIVES
A tragic accident at DARSO market in Offinso North District has claimed the lives of Four (4 )people living three (3) in criticalcondition, including the initial victim, Maame Abresuo, a woman in her 70s.
The collision occurred on Sunday when a Voxzy car (registration number BK 128-25) speeding from Techiman to Kumasi collided with an Aboboyaa that made an unlawful U-turn.

According to eyewitnesses, the initial victim died on the spot, while 4 others who were receiving treatment at Nkenkansu Government Hospital succumbed to their injuries.
The victims are believed to be market women who were trading at the roadside.
Residents are blaming the District Assembly and highway authorities for the lack of speed ramps and poor market management, which they claim contributed to the accident.

They are calling on Hon. Caesar Ofosu Acheampong, DCE, and Hon. Dr. Fred Kyei Asamoah, MP, to intervene and install speed ramps to reduce overspeeding in the area.
The accident has left the community in mourning, with many calling for increased road safety measures to prevent such tragedies in the future.
