Two Suspects Arrested with 86 Parcels of Suspected Indian Hemp
The Kete-Krachi Divisional Police Command’s Anti-Robbery team has apprehended two suspects, John Dzeble (34) and Adzobi Mesiwotso (24), for possession of substances suspected to be Indian hemp.
The arrest was made on June 15, 2025, following an intelligence-led operation.

During the operation, police intercepted an Opel Astra vehicle with registration number GT 6430-13, driven by Dzeble, with Mesiwotso as a passenger. A search revealed

– 86 compressed parcels of suspected Indian hemp
– A portable measuring scale machine
– A roll of masking tataper

The substances were concealed in the vehicle’s inner compartments, including the engine, doors, and boot.

The suspects are assisting with investigations while in police custody.
