Lawra Municipal Chief Executive, Alhaji Adams Muazu, Passes Away
The Lawra Municipal Assembly is in mourning following the death of its Municipal Chief Executive, Alhaji Adams Muazu, who passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, after a short illness.

Alhaji Muazu was nominated as MCE on April 5, 2025, and confirmed by the Lawra Municipal Assembly on April 22, 2025, with 33 ‘Yes’ votes and 8 ‘No’ votes. A teacher by profession, he also served as the CEO of Supertek Digital Creations.

During his short tenure, Muazu demonstrated dedication to his role. His passing has sparked an outpouring of condolence messages from community members, who are now eagerly awaiting the President’s nomination of a new MCE to replace him.
