Tragedy Strikes Bauchi: Groom and Friends Die in Car Crash Moments Before Wedding
A devastating car accident has claimed the lives of a groom and two of his friends in Toro Local Government Area of Bauchi State.
The incident occurred on Saturday, just moments before the wedding ceremony was set to take place.
According to eyewitnesses, the vehicle carrying Senior Police Officer SP Mustapha Garba Gumau, Shuaibu Umar, and Sulaiman Musa veered off the road and crashed at Bargan Tsamiya village around 9:00 am.

The accident happened while they were en route to Magaman-Gumau for the wedding fatiha, scheduled for 10:00 am.
The impact of the crash was fatal, killing the three men on the spot. Several other occupants of the vehicle sustained varying degrees of injuries.

The sudden loss has thrown the communities of Gumau and Magaman-Gumau into mourning, as what should have been a joyful union turned into a sorrowful occasion.
The Bauchi Police Command’s Public Relations Officer, Mohammed Wakil, was unreachable for comment at the time of reporting.
