Tension Over Breman Asantem Chief Installation.
The Oyoko royal family at Breman Asantem in the Central Region is opposing the installation of a new chief.
They claim that only their family has the authority to select a qualified candidate for the position.
The Oyoko family alleges that a different, non-royal family has presented Mr. Asani to the paramount chief for gazetting, despite lacking the qualifications to select a chief.

The Oyoko family has taken the stool into their custody to prevent the installation.
The family is calling on authorities, including the Central Regional House of Chiefs and the Ghana Police Service, to intervene and prevent chaos in Breman Asantem.
