Talitha Kum Ghana and SCA Launch Major Repatriation Effort for Human Trafficking Survivors.

Talitha Kum Ghana, Talitha Kum is an international network of Consecrated Persons Against Human Trafficking founded in Rome by the International Union of Superior Generals (UISG).Talitha Kum Ghana is operating under the Safe-Child Advocacy Centre.

The mission of Consecrated Persons Against Human Trafficking (ConPAHT), is making significant strides in combating human trafficking in collaboration with Safe Child Advocacy (SCA) Ghana.

The organization is currently repatriating 6 girls and 2 babies who were trafficked to Ghana.

Rev. Sister Olivia Umoh, The National coordinator for Talitha Kum Ghana and

Director of Safe Child Advocate  Ghana, stated that Talitha Kum Ghana is working tirelessly to support survivors, including those with mental health issues, lactating mothers, and children of school-going age.

“We are committed to ensuring these vulnerable individuals receive the care and support they deserve,” she said.

One of the survivors, a 16-year-old Nigerian girl, was lured to Ghana by a countryman who promised her employment, but she ended up in a distressing situation.

Through the support of SCA Ghana and Talitha Kum Ghana, she was rescued and is now receiving care.

Thanks to the efforts of Talitha Kum Ghana and SCA, six survivors have been repatriated to their home countries.

The organizations are working to reunite more survivors with their families and provide them with necessary care and support.

Talitha Kum Ghana, operating under the office of Consecrated Persons Against Human Trafficking (ConPAHT), is working closely with SCA to combat human trafficking and support survivors.

Their joint efforts are making a tangible difference in the lives of vulnerable children and survivors of trafficking.
