Student Stabbed at Wa Amass Over Video Recording Dispute

A disturbing incident has occurred at Wa T.I Ahmadiyya Senior High School (Wa Amass), where a final-year student, Iddrisu Ibrahim (Lincoln), was stabbed by a fellow student, Hafis (Baayaawa), during a confrontation on campus.

The altercation began when Lincoln recorded a video of Hafis without his consent, leading to a heated argument between the two students.

Despite being threatened with violence, Lincoln refused to delete the video, which ultimately led to Hafis stabbing him in the rib and stomach area.

Lincoln is currently receiving treatment at the Wa Regional Hospital, where his condition is described as critical but stable.

The police have arrested Hafis and are conducting investigations into the incident. School authorities have tightened security on campus to prevent further incidents, but have yet to issue an official statement.

The incident has raised concerns about student safety and the need for effective conflict resolution mechanisms in schools.
