Stay Vigilant Against False Teachings, Christians Warned.

Rev. Fr. Michael Kwaku Boahene, Parish Priest of Saint Theresa’s Catholic Church, Asawase under the Catholic Archdiocese of Kumasi, has urged Christians to be cautious of false doctrines, false deeds, and false teachers as they navigate their faith journey.

Speaking on the theme ” Pilgrims of Hope: Keeping the Faith and Finishing the race” ( 2nd Tim 4:1-8) at the December 2025 edition Faith Rally at the forecourt of Saint Peter Basilica, Rev. Fr. Boahene, who also doubles as the co-director of the Office of Evangelization, Catholic Archdiocese of Kumasi, emphasized the importance of walking by faith and not by sight.

He noted that many youths are being swayed by superficial attractions such as beautiful buildings, lights, and quality sound systems that feed the senses, not their Christian faith which can lead them astray.

“As Christians, we must be aware of false teachings and false deeds,” Rev. Fr. Boahene warned.

“We are now worshipping God through our senses – eyes, ears, and feelings that appear nice to us, not more focused on faith formation and Christian growth but rather earthly things and pleasure.

Rev. Fr. Boahene’s message encourages us and also serves as a reminder to Christians to remain vigilant and prioritize their spiritual growth amidst the distractions of the world.
