Shatta Wale Urges Youth to Support Mahama
Dancehall artiste and entrepreneur Shatta Wale has thrown his weight behind President John Dramani Mahama, urging Ghanaian youth to support him.
According to Shatta Wale, John Mahama-led government would provide economic empowerment opportunities for the youth.
Speaking at the 2025 President’s Cup, Shatta Wale expressed strong support for Mahama’s policies aimed at improving the lives of young people.
He noted that collective support from the younger generation is crucial for the success of these programs, which would directly benefit them financially.
“From now till the next election, support this government. If you’re a youth and you want to see money in your pocket, then support this government because it has come to put money in your pocket,” Shatta Wale said.
In addition, Shatta Wale expressed gratitude for Mahama’s commitment to empowering the youth, saying, “The man who rewards your hard work with a smile and can also terminate your contract if you don’t deliver. Good evening Mr. President. We’re grateful for your commitment to empowering the youth and making us part of your vision.”
