Rural Ghanaian School in Dire Need: A Call for Urgent Support

Rural Ghanaian School in Dire Need: A Call for Urgent Support

The Asuboi community in Ghana’s Offinso South Municipal, located in the Ashanti Region, is facing a dire situation.

The community’s school is in desperate need of qualified teachers, proper infrastructure, and reliable electricity. Despite numerous letters sent to the Offinso Municipal Education Directorate, no assurance has been given to address these pressing issues.

Students are forced to learn in an environment shared with snakes, goats, lizards, and other animals, making it challenging for them to focus on their studies.

The lack of proper infrastructure and amenities has made the school an unattractive posting for teachers. When assigned to the school, teachers often find ways to transfer to other locations, exacerbating the shortage.

The community is calling on stakeholders, philanthropists, and individuals to support their cause.

We believe that with the right infrastructure and qualified teachers, they can provide their children with a better education.

The community’s appeal highlights the need for sustained efforts to improve access to quality education in rural areas.

The Asuboi community and school urge anyone willing to support their cause to come forward to authorities.

Together, we can make a difference and provide the necessary infrastructure and resources to ensure quality education for the children of Asuboi.
