REVENUE COLLECTION SYSTEM: GHANA NEEDS ROBUST SYSTEM WITHOUT HUSSLE AT COLLECTION POINT -GRA BOARD.

The Deputy Majority Leader in Parliament who doubles as the Board Chairman of the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA), George Rekette Kwaku Hagan, has called for a robust systems in the maintenance maximum revenue collection in the country.

The Member of Cape Coaat South added that when the system is robust, the country will deal with challenges of revenue collection the gab the state has been faced with.

The board chairman in addressing challenges with infrastructure confronting with the Ghana Revenue Authority-Custom Division, he assured the staff and management that the board will work to collaborate and fix the challenges, including the promotional inequalities.

The Board Members , Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare , Trade Minister, Francis Sosu, Madina MP, and the Chairman were among the members who paid a working visit to the Tema Port and the revenue collection points.

The team went to ICUMS system operation centre, reifer Terminal, golden jubilee and Safebond terminals, and other areas.

Theresa Potakey, The Sector Commander and Assistant Commissioner of GRA-Custom Division Tema, outlined the challenges the officers will have to through at their collection points.
