Rev. Fr. Affum Urges Young Christians to Embody Christ’s Presence

Rev. Fr. Pascal Affum, Assistant Parish Priest at St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church Awoshie-Anyaa, has called on young Christians to embody Christ’s presence in their daily lives and actions.

Speaking during a church service where students received First Communion and Baptism, Fr. Affum emphasized that spreading the Good News of Christ goes beyond preaching and requires living out one’s faith in daily interactions.

Fr. Affum highlighted that each individual has a unique role to play in representing Christ and bringing peace, joy, and hope to those around them.

He encouraged the students to recognize and share their unique gifts, whether it’s bringing peace to family life or helping others in need.

The priest reminded the students that as ambassadors of Christ, they represent not just their country but the family of Christ. He urged them to lift the flag of Christ and represent Him well, regardless of where they are in the world.

Fr. Affum emphasized the importance of living out one’s faith in daily life, whether at home, in school, or in other settings.

“If you know what is good, do it,” he said, encouraging the students to be intentional about reflecting Christ’s presence in their actions and interactions.
