“Religious Leaders Join Fight Against Galamsey and Corruption”

Religious leaders in Ghana are lending their voices to the fight against illegal mining (galamsey) and corruption, two issues that have been plaguing the country’s development.

Rev. Apostle Emmanuel Gyabaah, Ashanti B Area Head of Bethel Prayer Ministries International, has condemned galamsey, citing its devastating impact on the country’s lands, rivers, and forests.

Apostle Gyabaah is calling on the government, traditional leaders, and stakeholders to work together to put an end to the menace. “Galamsey is destroying our lands, rivers, and forests, and it’s affecting the country negatively,” he emphasized.

Rev. Tweneboa Kodua, Founder and Leader of Unique Grace Chapel, has also weighed in on the issue of corruption, stating that it is one of the major obstacles to Ghana’s development.

“You could see corruption in almost every institution or office in Ghana,” he lamented, appealing to stakeholders to help curb the practice.

The religious leaders’ stance is a significant boost to the ongoing efforts to tackle these issues and promote sustainable development in Ghana.
