President John Mahama Directs Submission of Assembly Members’ Names for Allowance Payment.
H.E President John Dramani Mahama has instructed all Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs) and District Chief Executives (DCEs) to submit the names of Assembly Members to their respective Regional Ministers by next week.

This move aims to facilitate the processing and payment of Assembly Member allowances, fulfilling a promise made by the President.
The directive is part of President Mahama’s efforts to ensure effective governance and timely payment of allowances to Assembly Members.
The Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy, and Religious Affairs, under the leadership of Minister Ahmed Ibrahim, will oversee the process.
