POB Foundation Donates Quarry Stones to Obuasi Boete Central Mosque
The Obuasi Boete Central Mosque has received a donation of quarry stones from the POB Foundation, valued at GH¢ 6,400.
The donation was made by Prince Owusu Bonah, a politician and philanthropist, who emphasized the importance of unity and interfaith cooperation.
According to Prince Owusu Bonah, “In Ghana, both Christians and Muslims are one.
They worship one God or Allah.” He stressed that individuals should not let their religious beliefs hinder them from making a positive impact on society.
The Deputy Chief Imam of Obuasi West, Alhaji Suleman Dawudu, expressed gratitude for the donation and urged that the relationship between Christians and Muslims should be strengthened through such acts of kindness.
He noted that the donation will have a positive impact on the Boete Central Mosque and the community.
The donation is seen as a gesture of goodwill and a symbol of the strong bond between Christians and Muslims in the community.
