OFFINSO NORTH MP DELIVERS ON PROMISE, CUTS SOD FOR APENTEN D/A PRIMARY SCHOOL BUILDING

Hon Dr Fred Kyei Asamoah, the MP for Offinso North, has today fulfilled his promise to give Apenten D/A Primary School a new lease of life. The MP cut the sod for the construction of a 4-room, ultra-modern building for the school.

According to Dr Asamoah, the school’s dilapidated structure had become a “dead trap” for students and teachers, and he couldn’t stand idly by. “I wouldn’t be happy to see my son sitting in such a deadly trap classroom,” he said.

The Member of Parliament for Offinso North Dr.Fred Kyei Asamoah, has assured constituents that efforts to improve academic standards in basic schools will continue.

He emphasized that education is a priority, stating he’s working hard to ensure everyone has access to quality education – the same standard he’d want for his own children. “If you’re wishing well for others’ children, you’re receiving more blessings,” he said, highlighting his commitment to the cause.

Supported by his 5% MP fund, the project is expected to be completed within three months. Dr Asamoah emphasized the importance of providing a proper learning environment for the youth, citing examples of Ghanaian leaders who worked hard to achieve greatness.

The sod-cutting ceremony was attended by Hon Johnson Mogma and party executives with the support of the traditional leaders, School management and the Parents Teacher’s Association, not forgetting of the energyetic Apenten youth for Development (AYFD) who showed their support for the MP’s initiative.

Dr Asamoah has called on the community to support the project with prayers.
