Nsenoa Electoral Area Residents Cry Foul Over DCE and Assemblyman’s Neglect
Residents of Nsenoa electoral area in Offinso North Constituency are expressing deep disappointment and frustration with District Chief Executive, Hon. Caesar Ofosu Acheampong, and Assemblyman, Hon. Abugri Charles, over what they perceive as a blatant neglect of their area’s development.
The residents point to deplorable school infrastructure, including Amponsahkrom, Apenten, and Nsenoa, where children are forced to learn under trees due to lack of classrooms.
The absence of a Junior High School in Apenten means students must trek over 8 miles to Asempaneye, a journey they describe as “stressful” and “exhausting”.
“We’ve given you our votes, but where is the development?” the residents ask, citing unfulfilled promises and a perceived focus on personal interests over community needs.
They’re pleading with government officials to deliver on their promises and provide a JHS in Apenten, which they believe is crucial for the area’s growth.
The residents warn that if their concerns are not addressed, they may withdraw their electoral support in future polls.
“It’s time for you to prioritize our needs,” they caution Hon. Acheampong and Hon. Charles.
The residents emphasize that their area’s development hinges on the actions of the MCE and DCE, and they’re holding them accountable for the current state of affairs.
“Our luck of development depends on Hon. Caesar Ofosu Acheampong and the MCE,” they stress, urging the officials to act swiftly to address their concerns.
The residents warn that they’ve kept quiet for too long, but now it’s time to take action. “Every politician knows how citizens give them punishment, and our thoughts remain silent no more,” they caution.
“Silence is golden, but we’ve used it for too long. It’s time for change,” they add, hinting at a possible electoral reckoning if their demands aren’t met.
